 Give Back Contest Details

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, January 2531, 2026, Catholic Financial Life is proud to honor Catholic school teachers across the country through our annual Give Back Contest. It’s our way of saying thank you for their hard work, faith-filled leadership and tireless service.

Through this contest, three outstanding teachers will each receive a $500 cash prize, and their schools will receive a $4,000 donation to support their mission.

Here's How it Works

Nominate a Catholic school teacher for their remarkable dedication to transforming the lives of their students.

Nominations open on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and will be accepted until Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT. To submit a nomination, complete the form below and share specific examples of how the teacher has gone above and beyond—whether through creative teaching methods, unwavering support, or inspiring leadership in the classroom and community.

After the nomination period closes, the public will be invited to vote for their favorite nominee from December 15–19, 2025, directly on our website. Once voting ends, the top 10 teachers with the most votes will move forward for a final review. A panel from Catholic Financial Life will then select three winners based on:

Winners will be notified by phone or email using the contact information provided at the time of nomination. Winners will be announced on our Facebook and website during Catholic Schools Week, January 25–31, 2026, and will be featured in the 2026 Spring Radiant Life magazine.

Contest Rules
Eligibility
  • You do not need to be a member to participate.
  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.
  • The Give Back Contest is open to Catholic elementary, middle and high school teachers within the United States.
  • Nominees must be full-time teachers at a Catholic school. Please note: teacher aides and support staff are not eligible.
Entry

Contest nominations will be accepted from Tuesday, November 4, 2025, until Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT—no exceptions.

Winner Selection and Notification

After the nomination period closes, the public will be invited to vote for their favorite nominee from December 15–19, 2025, directly on our website. Once voting ends, the top 10 teachers with the most votes will move forward for a final review. A panel from Catholic Financial Life will then select three winners based on:

  • Number of votes
  • Impact the teacher made
  • Additional stories and comments that were shared during voting

Winners will be notified by phone or email using the contact information provided at the time of nomination. Winners will also be announced on our social media channels and website during Catholic Schools Week, January 25–31, 2026, and will be featured in the 2026 Spring Radiant Life magazine.

Awards

Awards will be presented to three Catholic school teachers, who will be selected by a panel convened by Catholic Financial Life.

All three winners will receive a $500 cash award and a $4,000 donation to their school.
