President and CEO

John Borgen serves as president and CEO. John has held ascending roles of increased responsibilities since joining the company in 2009. John has demonstrated strengths in results-oriented servant leadership, collaborative strategy development, organizational and cultural development, market research and development, change leadership and volunteer engagement. John earned a master’s degree in business administration at Marquette University, a master’s degree in philanthropy at Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in political science at St. John’s University.

Corporate Secretary

Amy Bellows joined Trusted Fraternal Life in December 2023 as Vice President of Transformation. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Amy specializes in corporate strategy, team dynamics, organizational transformation, and change leadership to consistently deliver measurable results in complex environments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management, as well as a master’s degree and doctorate in Psychology.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of 14 individuals from diverse backgrounds dedicated to providing strategic oversight of our financial well-being and fraternal impact. Elected by our members to serve our members, they are guardians of the mission and advocates for the vision.
