The Catholic Financial Life Foundation, Inc., was formed in 2006 as a benefit to members. As stated in the Foundation’s mission statement, we make donations to benefit Catholic parishes and organizations, and we help members to accomplish their philanthropic objectives.
Catholic Financial Life and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul have formed a three-year partnership to provide help to people in need. Through the joint agreement, which officially begins on Jan. 1, 2009, the national Catholic Financial Life organization will match up to $500 per year of fundraising by local chapters on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul Society councils or conferences.
Held annually on the first Saturday in May, this national volunteer day calls upon all Americans, to reach across generations, break down age barriers and work with new friends in identifying and fixing problem conditions in their communities. These projects included conducting food drives, planting flowers at community parks and visiting residents at nursing homes.
A key part of Catholic Financial Life' mission is to assist Catholic parishes and schools throughout our local communities. In addition to contributing funds directly to parishes and schools, we also have a parish loan program.
Members are invited to put their Catholic values in action through involvement in social, educational and fund-raising activities that benefit individuals, Catholic parishes and schools and other community causes.
