Archbishop Timothy Dolan has been named Cardinal by the Vatican. He was among 22 new cardinals named by Pope Benedict XVI on January 6, and will be elevated in a ceremony on February 18. Archbishop Dolan has led the Archdiocese of New York for the past 2 ½ years following several years as Archbishop of Milwaukee. He also serves as President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, a post he has held since November, 2010. He also served as the Spiritual Director of Catholic Financial Life‘s Board and continues his affiliation with the Society as our Spiritual Director Emeritus.
